Altered Wheel Thrown Platter Workshop

Wednesday April 17, 2024, 6-9PM

Join us for an evening of creating an altered, one of a kind serving platter. In this workshop participants will learn to alter a platter that is first thrown on the wheel and then stretched into an oval. Participants will also learn to pull and attach fancy handles/loops, along with decorative fluting to add to their platters. This workshop is a little bit wheel, and a little bit hand building, the best of both worlds.
Participants should be able to center 4-4.5 lbs. of clay.
