Abstract Monoprinting on Clay

Monday February 17, 6-9PM

Create one of a kind, abstract ceramic art with Mono printing on clay.  Mono printing involves drawing, painting and layering underglazes onto newsprint then transferring the designs to leather hard surfaces. Participants will learn materials to use, the order to apply their colors, and when and how to transfer their designs to their work. Whether you are a beginner or experienced potter this workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill and be creative!!

Participants should bring 1-3 small/medium size pieces that are at the leather hard stage to the workshop. Lighter clay bodies and pieces without texture work best.
